Hello VM, .....Picky to be sure; but may I suggest that your next submission to Google include a small change:

This is what the present search reveals:

"Virtual Mechanics HTML Editor, DHTML Editor, SVG Editor
... TM & © 1998 - 2004, Virtual Mechanics, Inc. All rights reserved. Virtual Mechanics
Products. Virtual Mechanics Resources. Virtual Mechanics News Room. ...
Description: Dynamic WYSIWYG HTML authoring software for the design of interactive web pages, professional internet...
Category: Computers > Software > Shareware > Windows > Internet > HTML
www.virtualmechanics.com/ - 40k - Cached - Similar pages"

SVG is mentioned once. HTML is mentioned three times; especially in "thee" critical passage.

Am I flogging a gaunt horse while this reflects the reality of it all? T'isn't a whole lot different from a Visicom Media advertisement for AceHTML 5 Pro supplemented by AceDesign Pro. THIS DOES NOT BRING OUT THE REAL CHARACTER OF WEB ENGINE NOR DOES IT MAKE IT STAND OUT AS THE TRULY UNIQUE PRODUCT which the presence of SVG gives it.

Absolutely Cordially,

Muzz

Hi Muzz,

If we could determine the copy for Google, we would. Unfortunately it uses its own criteria to determine what text to display. This may have something to do with it: http://www.google.com/technology/pigeonrank.html

Hi Derry,

I suspected that it was a Google creation. I am not certain why we write a description about our sites anymore.

When Skinner developed "Behaviourism" it was aptly referred to as "Psychology out of its Mind."Is this pigeon thing a Giggle or for real??

Most of your flogging on the net is pretty good; but that kind of stood out.

"The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when you're through."

Cheers and thanks.
Muzz

PS The strange web-site phenomenon turned into a disaster --- a "no preparation" re-format. Lost a ton of data.

I don't think most of the search engines bother with the description anymore.

I hear they pay the pigeons more than the programmers Wink
