Which discussion with CAS were you looking at?
I didn't see the effect of centering on any of your pages. I see some special code in there but not the full deal that happens with centering set from the Page Editor > Special Effects tab. So it's a bit of a mystery right now... As a test, try centering the first page of the tutorials (Help > Tutorials). I just did -- and that centers correctly for me. |

What design width did you use for the index page? Looks like you have exceeded 800px width which you have used on the other pages.
In particular, obj332, which I think is a group, starts at left:118px and is 790px wide -- this takes it outside the 800 mark. This same object on your history page starts at left:0px, so does fit inside the 800 mark. I'm not sure what exactly you have done there, but if on your index page, you can shift obj332 118px to the left, that may solve the problem. |

No, on all the pages obj 332 starts at 10px and ends at 800px.....that is in site spinner? So there is no room to shift it as you sugest.

Hmmm, the code says it starts at 118px.
Your four photos down the right hand side are spilling over the 800px page width boundary -- at least according to the code! If that is the case, I suggest you move them back inside the boundary. As those photos are part of the group, obj332 (I think!), that may fix the problem. Also, you have a secret object (obj74) starting at top:-1px. If you don't need it, I suggest delete it. That won't be causing the centering problem though. |

Well I tried all of that.........no joy, I have resorted to the original uncentered style, I did prefer the centered version though.

I don't see any reason that page shouldn't center. I'd like to find out why it doesn't.
Does your .ims project file auto-backup to your site, and if so, what name are you using? |

Ok Bruceee I just tried stripping out all the pics on that page then centering all pages, but the first page still jumped????? not sure/clear on the auto-backup question???

Whenever you publish, a copy of your project .ims file is saved to your site ("auto-backup"). I'd like to look at that file, but first, I need to know the name you used for your project.

On your index page, select obj114 from the drop-down object list, then delete it.
One way to do this is, with obj114 selected, open the Object > Editor > Components tab, then click the Delete button. This object is way off the left hand edge of your page, and spoiling the centering. It is peculiar in that the Quick Editor does not correctly report its location. It may be a bug, so I have passed a demo project on to VM. |
