I have a cool little program that allows me to have live audio messages at my website - I cannot figutre out how the "Object editor" allows for these files to be embedded -

he program uses Flash shockwave - whuch need to be loaded into the folder also, the files are access when the page loads and there are control buttons for visitors to play the files..

it was easy to embed the files with a HTML editor, bu ti cannot get them placed
Frankly i do not understand the filing system in "SPinner" - I loaded all of the files from this program into the right floder, yet they never appear - the inly files that appear in the "Spinner" menu are "ims" files.. really don;t get it..

This program obviously has alotof power bu ti do not understand how the files are sorted or accessed in a lrger project of multiple pages and diverse files, like in a website -- i do not se where the graphic files go,, how to accees them

When you publish a project, SiteSpinner will put supporting files in specific folders, depending on file type. You can change the names of these folders from the Publisher Window > Pages tab > Sub Folders button. When checking to see what SiteSpinner has published/gathered, look in the local publish folder, also specified on the pages tab.

If you include your flash files as Foreign Objects, they should publish to a folder called media -- or whatever other name you specified. When publishing, use the 'Gather' in the publisher Path Options.

If you don't want to use Foreign Objects, you can instead put all the flash files in a separate folder, and FTP that folder separately to your site. Adjust the links in your code that reference the flash to point at that folder.

I haven't used flash myself, so someone who has may have better ideas... Wink
