Hi,

Feels good to be a VM.

I've been studying this mobi stuff for a little while and I have done my best to publish compliant code in my .mobi domains.

I attempt to make the mobile user experience pretty much the same for smart phones and lower level devices.

a few of the test sites are:
http://sergeantbrettscoffee.mobi (mobisitegalore)
http://mobisize.mobi (mobisitegalore)
http://sleepinggiantmedia.mobi (mobisitegalore)
http://carbonfarmer.mobi (Joomla 1.5)
http://www.mainlink.biz/cfm_1 (carbonfarmer test site made with SS)

I think I'm missing something elementary here. I need help with link interactivity similar to that in the first three
mobi sites above. Where can I program cell phone key access in SS or set up links that are available on lower
level devices?

For example, the test site, http://www.mainlink.biz/cfm_1, shows up great on my iPhone and any lower level
device. However, the links are not accessable on lower level devices. Can someone help?

Regards,
Doktor_G

The only link I see on your test site is the one in your "About" button. I suspect that method of linking requires Javascript to be available on your lower level devices. Do you know if it is? It also supposes that the devices have forms support in their browsers.

In any event, I think it would be safest to stick with standard page links as on the first coffee site. If you want buttons, then page links on button images should also work -- but keep it simple.

Caution: I know next-to-nothing about mobile design!

Hi Doktor_G,

For the key access you would enter it in the 'code' field on the link tab. So for access key 4 you would enter accesskey="4" in the code field.

Is that what you are looking for? The cfm_1 file doesn't seem to be there any more so I am not quite sure.
