Can somebody help me here.
Go to www.sands-publishing.com.
You will see the planet move accross the screen.
I would like to center this page but everytime I do the planet is displaced to the right and is set with a relative position instead of an absolut position.
I have played with the program and realised that whenver an animation is created on centered pages this is always setting the animation object to a relative position even though it doesn't say it is. Am I doing something wrong.

You have an unusually wide page so that will upset horizontal page centering. Check out obj154 -- that is way off to the right (and bottom). You probably can delete that. The alert for this kind of problem is the distance the scroll bars allow you to cover.

That may fix the problem with the animation too -- it it doesn't, let's know.

Yes it did in this case fix the problem, but I still don't know what the object was.
However when I create a new project and set up a simple bouncing ball there is a displacemnet. Any help here on what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Harpo,

On the work page, the ball is positioned at the end of the path. But when previewed, the position of the ball is shifted to the left before the animation starts.

I placed the ball at the top of the line I want it to follow. During the 2 second wait the ball is displaced to the right. Surely this should not be happening. I thought the ball would stay where it was placed until the action starts. Please advise.} If I do not center the page tha ball does exactly what I expected it to do.
Check out the two linked pages. The green ball is placed beneath the purple ball and will bounce after a couple of seconds. In the centered page the green ball is not located under the purple ball! It still folows the path after the delay however.

Any help here would be appreciated. Am I missing a step!

Okay, I see what you mean now. That seems to be a bug that, as you said, only happens when page centering is turned on. We will look into this but it will probably require an update to fix.
