> > > > win ver: Vista > > Summary: I am trying to get a video inserted on the webpage and on the moble website. I have opened the project with both website/mobile. I go to insert video from the icon on the left side. On the website there is a box with the location of the video. I have used wmv and even FLV but I do not see the video. What happens is that it opens in another window and plays the video. It does NOT play in the box of the website or moble. > > In the preview window for the mobile there is nothing in the box. There is nothing in the website box either. > What I really want to happen is (MOBILE) have it show the movie and then once it gets done with the video I want it to go to another website. > > I am using the trial (before I buy) version to make sure your software works. PLEASE HELP ME. > Please HELP, PLEASE!!! > |

It seems that your computer is wanting to play the video using the Windows Media Player.
To embed the video in your pages, the easiest solution is to use Flash (.swf) format. Just about all browsers know how to handle it. I'm not a video expert, so let's hope someone happens along here soon who is.... |

For mobile devices, I believe you need to use mp4 format. Flash is not always available on all mobile devices, so swf files are not reliable. FLV files require a player app. wmv files are usually too large and also require a player app. I would use either mp4 or mp3.
