I am having a lot of problems with the Action Editor in SS Pro. I am having problems trying different action using the Timing tab and at times do not understand what has happened. I have tried to duplicate the exact same ‘action’ on the Breathe object in the SiteSpinner tutorial and have not be able to get it to do the exact same action. Again, I have tried to duplicate the Change Image action that is shown in the tutorial and have not been successful. Do you know if there is a tutorial anywhere that is a little more detailed and fully explaining the Action Editor?

The tutorial under Help > Load Tutorials is the best we have. If there is an action you want to duplicate, you can open the action editor for that object and look at all the settings the tutorial uses.

If that doesn't help, can you point out the exact place(s) in the tutorial where you have the problems?

I now have most of the problems solved with the action editor except one. I have 3 text objects following an object path which has no line thickness. The second and third text objects are delayed so that they are evenly spaced out and flow nicely one behind the other. They work fine in the preview window but when tried in the actual browser window they sometimes become jammed up on top of each other. When I click they refresh button in the browser they correct themselves and work fine. This happens in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. Any idea why this happens.

Try sending the objects and path 'To Front'. It may be that the animation is starting before the page is fully loaded. Maybe?

Working on the same theory, another option is to put a delay on the first object too -- that may improve matters.

If that does not help, can you post a link to a test page and preferably your .ims project file too?

I put a delay on the first text object and it is working OK now. Thanks for the help.
