Hy there, I like to use flash animations in the websites i make with Sitespinner but I would love to get the backgrounds of the flash animations I make transparent. I make the animations with Swift 3D or Motionartist

I tried editing the object properties and filling out a parameter wmode and give it a value of 'transparant' or 0 but it doesn't work. Also when I add the line
<param name="wmode" value="transparent">
to the code it still doens't work.

Does anybody knows how to do this?

Thanks!

Can you post a link or an example? I've been able to do it using the wmode parameter without problems.

I grabbed your "Digital Art.swf" file and set the wmode parameter to transparent and it went transparent. (BTW, my server had trouble finding the swf file because of the space embedded in the file name. I suggest you not use spaces in file names, especially with Flash files, since spaces can be assumed to be a parameter separator.)

The other two files (digital.swf and art.swf) did not work with the wmode set to transparent. I believe it is because you used an image background instead of a single color. Image transparency only works when there is a single color specified as the transparent color. Changing those backgrounds should get them to work like the other one did.

I finally found out what I did wrong wause even what you told me didn't worked... Cause i wrote transparAnt with an A in the second part. The language barriere killed me!! After many hours of searching I tried transparent and it all worked although you were right for the backgrounds!!!
