Hi,

I want to animate an object so that it rotates about its center. For instance, imagine an image of a propeller rotating about its central axis.

Thought the rotation transform might be what I was looking for - but can't figure it out.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

-Bruce

Rotation only works in SVG mode but other than that it should be fairly straight-forward:

Select an object, open the Action editor to the Transforms tab and move the Rotation slider to the speed you want.

An animated gif may be the way to go with that.

Thanks all. I suspect the animated gif route is the one I'll take.

Hi!
I have found that in html if you use rotation .. it flips wildly ..
In svg however , it will rotate.
You can create a svg page with a logo on it and then import it into a html page, but you loose any object pathing that you may have done..SVG works well .. HTML works well
Just have to get them to work together :-)
Still a wonderfull programe

Greg
PS Hope this helps ...

Hi Greg,

Rotation and dynamic Shading of objects is not available in DHTML at this time. It may be available in a latter release if we can tackle a few technical obstacles.

Hi Derry, ......You must have at times
thought that I was exaggerating about how dirty Microsf
ot can get when it wants to have its petulant way.

Here is what it has done to an Opera download, and to Opera itself. Stupid as usual them forgot that 2000 is 2000 in Greek and English.

It is called censorship I believe.
