Help!!! My site is already active but the trouble is that each page exported by Site Spinner to the web, shows everyone the horizontal Windows scroll bar used on the work window. Is there an easy way to stop the pages sliding left and right? I need a very simple answer for a total ignoramus.

Scrollbars show up in a browser window what the page being displayed is larger than the current browser dimensions. Dragging the browser border to make it larger should remove the scrollbars.

What target resolution did you use when designing your web pages in SS? This can be found in the Options->Project Options window. If you want your pages displayed in a browser window of 1024x768 pixels, then set your target resolution to these dimensions.

You could also have an SS object with some wacky co-ordinates. This has happened to a few people. If you posy a link to your page, someone can look and help identify if this is the problem.

I found a URL in your publish profile; is this the page with the error? If so, at the bottom of your page you have a text object (obj3548) defined with a width of 1790 pixels. This looks like it is far larger than your page design.

Thanks again Larryd for your advice. It seems that my problem was exactly as you wrote:

The resolution was too small. Once I made it 1024X768 pixels and moved the browser border, the scrollbars disappeared.

The lowest Object of my site, a menu with some links such as About and Contact us, was twice as wide as the page. I shortened it to the right size, and viola', my site is back!

Larryd, your prompt answer was great!
