It has recently been brought to my attention that my website dropdown menus are not working in Mozilla Firefox. I have three header pages. When on the 'About' page, the drop down menus that pop up under fruit and vegetables work as they should. This is the problem....When you're on the 'Home' page and the 'Contact' page the drop down menus under fruit and vegetables popup but don't function as they should. Just the dropdown menus on the 'About' page work as they should. I've installed the latest updates in Firefox. The website works like a charm in Explorer. Does anyone have an idea how to fix the problem?
Here's the website link to check and see if the same thing happens to you when you try to use the dropdown menus in Mozilla Firefox, Thanks: http://www.roysestwincityproduce.com |

In Firefox, an object that covers another object will hide any link the hidden object may contain, even if the covering object is transparent.
Your text objects for Fruit and Vegetables have heights that are too long and they cover the objects under them thus hiding the links. If you resize them to a normal line height (about 22px), then your links should work. |

Hey larryd,
Instead of resizing, I arranged the dropdown menus to the front and the transparent object behind the dropdown menu. Just like magic, everything now works in firefox!!!!! Your Awesome!!! Thanks sooooo much!

I agree with Larry that a smaller height would fix the problem -- unless you have some reason for the height you are using.
The reason why the dropdown fails on some pages is that on those pages, your "Fruit" (obj20) and "Vegetables (obj42) text objects are in front of the dropdowns and so obscure the links. On your About page, for example, they are behind the dropdowns, so do not obscure the links. You could fix this without resizing by moving the text objects a few places further 'To Back' on your Home page. Buttons for this are on the bottom toolbar (I hope!) or failing that, on the Arrange > Order menu. [Edit: Ooops, I answered the question a little too quickly without waiting for your last post |
