I found this the other week.

Go to Meteo Group

On the left, click 'homepageweather'. You then have a customisable small weather display ... change the options, colours etc. Update the code, click and copy, and paste into SS code object.

When clicked on your site, the viewer then goes to other screens where they can get up to 14 day forecast and a breakdown for 3 days in 6-hourly slots.

I have used it on this site: CC Weather Watch

HTH.

Dave,

I have had something similar on my site for quite some time. Different company, but I have also provided a menu to see forecasts in different places. My page currently consists of only Australian sites at the moment. You can check it out here

Hi Terry

That works really well. Love your menus too - are they produced in Sothink? I might try to do something similar on the weather page, given the time!

Just had a good look at your site, Terry. Good stuff ... and some handy downloads/links.

Thanks Dave for your kind comments. By the way, your sites are looking good too.

My site has been up for a couple of years now and was my first project, but I’m getting a bit jack of it. I am in the process of upgrading it completely to try and organize all of the extras that I have added into a simple site (I have about four sub-folders, and sub-folders to them). It is a mixture of SS Standard, Web Engine and SS Pro.

As far as the menus go, they are a bit of a mixture too. The sub-menu on the forecasts page that I gave the link to is a flash menu, as is the main navigation menus on each page. For them (and the sub menus on my History and Graphs pages), I used a program called 123 Flash Menu.

For menus on my sub pages and other projects, I have used SoThink. In particular their Tree Menu. I also have used a program called Ultra Menu, who also have another great program called Ultra Button.

I haven’t bothered putting links to these programs in this post, but if you require them, please let me know.

Regards,
Terry
