I am having trouble publishing my site. I already read the info in FAQ.
When I publish an error message comes up and says:
FTP connection error: Unable to connect to...(FTP host). Please make sure host, username, password, and port are set correctly.
Last error: The password was not allowed.

The password and ftp host are correct, i have checked many times. I have also turned off the firewall. Any other suggestions?

When in Publisher can you Browse your Remote Publish Directory? Also use passive mode. Have you by any chance tried to connect to your server via an external FTP client? If nothing of the above is working and your host name, user name etc are correct then it can be a temporary problem with the server. Happened to me a couple of times.
