You're asking about a "Favicon" - Check out this thread:

If they are using Internet Explorer, join the club Smile

This thread (2 pages) has further details. I have found the program Klimt recommended, AM-DeadLink, to be very helpful.

Now i have favicon`s and other can se them to

I cleared cockies and temp. it-files
Run AM-Deadlink and restarted

I then got a lot off favicon including my own.

I tthen tryed with the litte code from favicon and with the larger code i found on this site, both work.

I then tryed to place the code in left top of workingwindow.
On 1 site it worked and the code was placed in head-head, in all other the code was placed in the body-section.
When i used the Header window in Page Editor i had no problem.

I am running IE 7.0
