Can any one tell me the best way to use horizontal lines to help seperate text. When I upload my rectangle lines to my server they grow bigger then I designed. Why?

If you are using rectangles to draw lines (by collapsing one of the dimensions?), then the rectangles is probably being rendered and/or anti-alias is being applied. Anti-alias is a method used to ensure a drawn vector blends with its surroundings.

There is no need to use rectangles to draw lines. Use the View->Toolbar Options... menu item. In the resulting Toolbar Options window, click the button in the "Customize" column that is associated with the "Components bar". In the new Customize Toolbar window, you will see two boxes of buttons. The ones one the right are those that are already available on the toolbar. The ones on the left are those that you can add to the toolbar. These include "Draw a Vertical Line" and "Draw a Horizontal Line". Highlight the desired button and click the "Add->" button. It should now show up on your Component toolbar after you close all those open windows.

Another way to do it is with the <HR> html tag. Example in the "Adding Code" tutorial.

Thank you it worked. My mistake was using the rectangles and not the horz. line feature. Thanks.
