I put some pictures into the website I am building...but when I turn on Sitespinner Pro the next day, the pictures are not there. What causes this and how can I always keep my pictures in the website I am building?

tom harada,

Where are you saving your pictures that are being placed into your project?

Are these pictures that you are copying/pasting to your project, or are you loading them with SSPro?

When I use pictures for my website I create a folder for them on my desktop. Then when I am working on my website I use the "add a picture" (the mona lisa)tool on SSPro and load them. Then I size them in SSPro. But why should the pictures be gone the next time I start up SSPro? I have to load them again and resize them ...

I have had this happen before. Whenever I move the folder that my project items(i.e. pictures, objects, etc...) to another location, this will cause the SSPro to not be able to locate them. Usually when this happens, there will be a box located where the picture/object was.

Are you moving the folder to another location, or renaming the folder?

weblegacy,

If your pictures are in the same folder as your project, or in a sub-folder under your project, try saving your project using the "relative path" option. This will convert the absolute path of your image file names to a relative path which will always be correct when you move the project folder.

If you select Save as... at the bottom of the dialogue box you have two options 'Use Absolute Directory Paths' (wich is the default) and 'Use Relative Directory Paths'.
