Hi All -
Am seriously new and slightly intimidated - my site http://www.imaginations-jewelry.com Imagination-Jewelry has been published barely 2 days. A friend suggested that I actually post here instead of just lurking...
My head is spinning faster than Linda Blairs' with all the wonderful info available - okay I do have a point - best 'getuit'.
I know I still have a ton of work to do, but one of the primary functions I need to accomplish is adding "Instant Download Cart" to my site. Has anyone worked with it, or can point to info on how to load it to my site? Sadly www.peergoal.com is having site and user help forum issues.
intimidated but not deterred...
Bobbi

The usual way is to add shopping cart code to your page is as a 'Code Object' -- button on the left-hand toolbar. There's more about this in the Code tutorial under Help > Tutorials.

G'day Bobbi.
I haven’t used the cart your talking about before so I can't talk from experience, but if the Peer Goal site and help forum is having trouble this could a sign of how things operate around the Peer Goal Domain, how long have they been having trouble for? are they answering you questions? can you read through older posts to see any positive or negative feedback?

If they can do what they promise and give your users intant dowloads of your tutorial files after payment, all will be well, as long as they give you support, and you deserve support of them as your going to be buying the program off them, and that includes help with setup.

If theres no luck in the help forum try contacting Peer Goal direct:

PeerGoal Contact Details

Email Contact: Adrian sales@peergoal.com
Phone USA Toll: Free +1 310-878-9007

I had a look around the net and I can't find much help for implimentation outside of peergoal.com .

Your sites looks good, you must be stoked.

Good luck,
Tonga

Many thanks Bruceee - I have a list of things I want to learn, but on my way to a particular tutorial I keep getting sidetracked with other goodies Smile Are there any tutorials on getting a 36 hour day? Smile

Hi ya Tonga -
I'm really starting to question peergoal as a company - I did my research on the cart, but overlooked the possible problems with support. I'm hoping they are just human and having server issues like normal folks do. Their site was completely unreachable yesterday, hopefully their it folks are just doing a little catching up. let's hope so - the ID Cart is really the best solution for what I need to do, without costing body parts.
I still have enough layout work, and content to add to my site to keep me busy til they "feel better".
LOL I am stoaked Smile) The only thing that really upsets me is that I didn't know about SS a long time ago - Have been through some nightmare programs and was almost ready to give up on my own site - really glad I gave it one last try with SS.
many thanks
Bobbi

Morning all - Turns out Instant Download Cart from wwwpeergoal.com is a scam - Seems their 'corporate' structure collapsed so all their customers are now SOL.
I need a shopping cart that both; delivers an instant download of a pdf file after payment, and for tangible product. Do I need 2 different carts? Can anyone recommend a cart that would accomplish both tasks? Has anyone had any experience with e-Junkie.com ?
many thanks all - getting scr@wed outta money not a good way to start the day...

Have you looked at Scribd? Normally, you would upload your PDF files for free download, but I understand they have now opened up a storefront for authors to sell their writings. Info can be found at http://www.scribd.com/store/about
