Iv'e heard and read much about building your site or Blog using wordpress, as your site will be looked and indexed by google more favourable...is this true? I really love using SS but don't want to be significantly disadvantaged.Interested to hear your thoughts.

Kind Regards
Rick

I have to wonder whether this is hype generated by Wordpress. There are many website building tools out there of which Wordpress and SiteSpinner are just two. I can't imagine that it is in Google's interest to favor one particular site builder over the many others.

Of course your site, however you build it, should contain valid code, and few (preferably none!) broken links. I expect Google would penalize badly constructed sites.

I am writing all this from a theoretical viewpoint -- what happens in practice may be quite different!

I have just installed wordpress and I must admit I am quite impressed. Easy to setup and use!
The blog I created is just an extra I have added on to my website that is of course built with SS. Wordpress will not replace SS by a long way for building my websites as you can not do as much as SS and to be fair is just a blogging program.

One thing I would like to see in SS is a built in blog or comments tool that can easily be implemented into a SS website.
Is this something that is in the pipeline for future updates?
