Hello again, a big thank you to all, with my recurring nightmare of building my own drop-down menus, which never worked. I'm using the Sothink Tree Menu for the Richmond website, it's not done yet, but in this week it should be up.
I also found a menu that follows down the page, I know some people don't like it, but it is just what I wanted, and it saves me scrolling back to the top of the page to find a new page link, I downloaded it free from Coffeecup Free DHTML Menu Builderincase anyone's interested. but it's made a major difference to how I re-designed my web-site. Roma, I'm still working on your tips, also hopefully up by the end of the week. I must just add that I did try various options on flash photoalbums etc, but as I sell my work off my web-site, I found it rather frustrating to want to look at a particular item, and have it change before I had a proper look at it, and thought it might be just as frustrating for a buyer/potential buyer, so I've stuck with the SS Table format, which is perfect. Been getting some great ideas about building just reading the daily topics and posts, thank you to you all. Michael Pakedi South Africa |
