I've seen the show/hide scripts discussed here and they work great.

One of the issues I see with this in a list of questions and answers is that if the answer is below the question, then your page has lots of white space on it.

What I'd like to do can be best seen here
Day job website If you click on the 'Less fuel consumption' link you'll see what I mean.

When you click on the link, everything below it pushes down. I can't see how to do this in SS where every block is a separate <div>

I'd like to do this in SS and I appreciate your insights. Thanks

You'll find a script doing just that and modified by Larry for use in SS in this thread.

I spoke too soon!

The code in Larry's page works just fine, but when I reconstruct it in my site it just sites there snikkering at me.

The header looks identical, the href in the text block looks identical as do the <div... and </div> tags look identical. And I checked it character from character from Larry's working version.

Is there a trick to this one? Is there something I missed? (Grrrrr ;-) )

Did you use the text editor Options->Options and Filters menu item to turn off the "Convert tag brackets <>" filter?

Hi Larry, yes it is.

I did notice, if I copy and paste the text from a text block into a code block, it works just fine. Confused

Can you post a link to a page containing the error?

No need.

Don't know what I did different, but I reappended Larry's project, copied the text block to my page in exactly the same way as before and lo! it worked. No difference in text.

I've edited it, added to it and all working just fine.

Very strange indeed but thanks for all your help and suggestions.

I'll keep an eye on this in case it goes wierd again.
