Greetings ... I am using WD 2.5 and I would like to have a main page with FAQ logo then link to a page with FAQ's which would link to other pages. E.G I click on FAQ logo which would take me to another page with questions. I would then like to click on a question which would take me to another page which has information about this particular FAQ ... can this be done using the link feature
thanks in advance ... Vic |

I have never used Webdwarf, but as far as I know, it will only allow one page per project, whereas Web Engine and Site Spinner allow multiple pages. With both of the latter, you only need to create a link and select the page you want from a drop-down list.
In your case, I would presume that your main page with the FAQ logo is named “index.html”. Using WD, you have probably created another page called something like “faq.html”. All you should need to do is create a link on the FAQ logo of the index page, and physically enter “faq.html”. Do the same with the links from the FAQ page for the related answers. When all is done, export all pages to the same directory. As a matter of interest, instead of using multiple pages, depending on your requirements, you may be able to use just one page for the FAQ questions and answers. For more information on that idea, see this thread |
