Hello all,
I am brand new here, and I'd figure that I would ask a few questions.
Here goes:
My website (www.luck-sales.com) is an ugly brownish website that I created about 6 months ago. Just recently, I updated it with a nice blue background, and tried to publish it. BUT it keps publishing the old website, and not the new one.
So basically, it is just publishing the old one over and over again, and not publishing the newly updated one. Is there any way I can fix this?
Any help will be appreciated.

Is your new page name "index" (no quotes)? Since your original page is being published (probably) as index.html, you will need to publish your new page with that same name so it will overwrite the old one.

I see that your old page published using SiteSpinner. Make sure you are publishing to the same location on your site as the old page.

Do you mean profile name when publising? Sorry, I am a real novice at this stuff! I am publishing to the same location. How can I change the name if it isn't right?

Yes, make sure you are using the same profile as you used for your old index page. If you are using the same profile, is SiteSpinner reporting any errors in the publishing status window when you publish? If you can copy and paste the displayed output into your forum replay, it may help us find out what is going on.

No, sitespinner is not reproting any errors.

All of this came up when I was done publishing. There were no problems, but I think that is becuase I am just republishinng the old one.

I do not see an index.html file being published. This is the first page that must exist on your site. When you visit your site, you are seeing your old index.html file. Looking at the publisher output you posted, I see a home.html file. If this is supposed to be your new main page, rename it index in the SiteSpinner page drop-down and re-publish your project.

Do you by chance have both an index.html and a Home.html file in your published directory? I think maybe what happened was that you first published your site with the brown background and used index. Then somewhere along the line you changed the name of your index page to Home. You then changed the color of Home and published again. Home.html is being published, but not index.html. When you go to your site as http://www.luck-sales.com, it will automatically load the index.html page. Then when you go to another page, like About Us and then select Home, you direct to Home.html and every thing seems to be copasetic. At least I think that's whats happened.

OK, rename your index page to just index. It looks like you have it named index.html. SiteSpinner will add the .html file extension automatically, so you don't need to.

Hi Liss,
I only see your index page as being published. In the publish page make sure export all pages (on the second tab) is checked and not the just export current page which is the default. Good luck.

Your index page looks good. Once you have your other pages uploaded/published, you should be good. I did notice that your email address isn't linked. Make sure you have it linked to mailto:// <your email address>.

I would recommend that you do a preview all and check your links (assuming you're linking your pages and not as an external http:// link).
