(Apologies for the long post. I can't help it!)

I am returning to web design after a five year hiatus, and my trepidation upon seeing my simple circa-1998 HTML crowded out by a ton of new and scary scripting languages was so overwhelming that I almost gave up before I even started! I'm an artist, not a programmer (regrettably)!

The problem was that it would take months, if not years, to learn all those fancy scripting languages, but I really REALLY didn't want to go back to boring ol' HTML (I just couldn't stomach the thought of old fashioned frames and tables again! BLARG!). And, being rather poor right now, I couldn't afford any of those multi-hundred-dollar WYSIWYG programs. (I tried out the Dreamweaver demo anyway and found it to be a rather unintuitive, difficult piece of software.) So I was stuck; I wanted a nice, modern-looking, non-clunky site, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it...

...until I fortuitously stumbled upon WebDwarf on download.com, lured in by the "freeware" label (have I mentioned I'm poor?). I was skeptical when I fired it up for the first time, but after a few hours of using it, I was leaping (figuratively) with joy. It did EXACTLY what I needed it to do, gracefully, intuitively and without crashes! Full-featured, easy to use AND free! What a deal! WOW! Somehow, I had serendipitously blundered my way into just the PERFECT solution to my website-design dilemma. I kept raving on and on about WebDwarf to my sweetheart, the poor guy.

After about a day of ecstatic non-stop web-construction, I noticed that WebDwarf had a big brother, SiteSpinner. I almost fainted dead away. I recall thinking "Oh my god, it gets BETTER?" I knew I had to have it, especially at only $40! After a bit of the ol' credit card cha-cha, I registered my very own copy of SiteSpinner and everyone (especially me) lived happily ever after.

Thank you, WD/SiteSpinner people for making this wonderful, powerful software. You've saved me a ton of aggravation and made web-designing a real joy again!

Hi everyone! Thanks for looking in on sugarskull.com. It's true...the links are not working right now. You're seeing the site in its "alpha" stage. Content is coming! Smile Once everything is in place and working, I'll start submitting my site URL to the search engines.

And I will certainly submit a review on download.com ASAP! Smile (Edit: DONE! Smile)
