Hallo, I often use Firefox, a great browser, and sometimes go to Tools - Options - Security - saved password to read and erase the passwords for the sites that I visit. Do you know if there is a way to shorten this path, maybe insert something in the toolbar to speed up this task? Thank you
I do not know of any other way to delete the passwords. But if you do not plan to keep the password, then when Firefox asks to save it, click either the "Never" or "Not Now" button.
Or simply uncheck Remember passwords for sites if you don't want FF remembering/storing passwords.
If you want to FF to remember passwords and then go in and remove some or all of them at a later time, I'm not sure there is any other way to do it other than Tools->Options->Security.
There is an add-on called Mass Password Reset which places a shortcut in the Tools menu. This add-on is designed to allow you to make mass changes to your passwords by either domain name, user name, or old password. I suppose if you enter the password you want to delete as the old password, then enter no new password, it would delete it. Sorry, but I'm not willing to give this a try with my passwords - I'll let you try it out and report back.
