I don't see it slow at all. It's perfectly normal. 764 kb speed

You can improve loading time by changing your images format from png to jpg. Just as an example the image obj78geo283pg1p123 is now ca 76KB, the same image in jpg format is 9KB.

Ok. All the images on my computer are jpeg. I just noticed that under project options the default image target was set on png. I changed it to jpg, saved, and republished. When I republished the images were still png. Did I miss a step somewhere?

Try to change the setting to 'Use Picture's Format'.

Thanks Klimt. Changing it to "use picture's format" worked. Its a lot faster now.
