I've been using SS for some years for my websites and now for the first time want to use the auto scroll feature.
I've found in the past that an SS page layout that views OK in Firefox may appear slightly differently in IE.
Perversely, on my index page (www.coreden-sterling.com) the view on IE is what I want, whereas on firefox, the frames alongside the auto-scroll panel have extended themselves downwards to give the text room to display itself without needing autoscroll - despite using 'lock cell size' for the text frame and all surroundings frames.
This destroys the symetry of the page
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Obviously auto-scroll text is rendered differently in IE and FF. I can't explain why that is but can suggest a workaround. In stead of using auto-scroll you can place your text in an I-Frame. You controll the size of I-Frame and I've never experienced any difference, as to how they are displayed, between IE and FF.

I think the difference may be because of the way IE and Firefox renders tables.

In SiteSpinner tables are not necessary for page layout -- but you may still like the decorative features.

If you are not wedded to those, I suggest split your table so that the auto-scroll box and side images are outside the table -- simply place them on your workpage.

Thank you both for those observations.
I'm having a go at ditching frames - I started with frames way back, and just kept using them.
Thanks again
