Yes, I know it is mentioned on often occasions, but this one may suit many of our valued members.

3D Text animator (normally $33.75) is available free for the next (at time of posting) about 22 hours.

I have downloaded and tried it, and it seems to work fine.

One review says that it uses a lot of resources. I’m not sure if that applies to the program itself, or the finished product. Other than that, it gets a fairly good rating.

Check it out here

Once you register the product, it is free for as long as the computer does not crash. You can (must) install it once per computer within the 24-hour give away period and activate it. If you do not activate the program, it reverts to a trial version.

After the 24 hour period, the installation will not work, so if your computer crashes it cannot be reinstalled. But if you keep disk back-ups, you can restore your disk with the program still activated.

I stopped getting things from GOTD since they now seem to be auto-installing Software Informer along with whatever "freebie" they offer.

You can opt to not install that software upon installation.

I wasn't given the option to opt out. Software Informer was simply installed along with the freebie.
