I did the publish project and everything was successful - it said. However, what other steps are required? How/when will my website be shown? I am a very new newbie and am confussed by the publishing aspect. I have no idea what I've done wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated!

After a successful publish, there are no further steps. Your site should show immediately in your browser.

I gather it is not doing that -- otherwise you would not be posting here A common reason for that to happen is that you have not published to the correct part of your site, or you may have published only to your local disk.
