I know that this topic has been discussed before but I would be grateful if anyone could provide a recap?
I foolishly 'lost' my current version of my site. I thought I could esily recover it from my server as I always have uploaded the .ims file each time a change was made. When I come to download my complete site from the server and open up the .ims file, none of the pictures are linked correctly. Is it possible to correct the linking automatically or do I have to manually re-correct each link which would take forever? Thanks in anticipation of knowledgeable help! |

I don't think you can do it automatically. If you originally had all your image files and/or external files in one folder then it's going to be a simple process using Geometry Editor and applying New Directory. If your images and external files are in different location then you'll need to change several directories in the same way.

Roma,
Yes, absolutely right. Using the Geometry Editor I was able to re-direct the directory pointer so that all the picture links were restored together with just one click. Thanks for such accurate advice, Ascii |
