I would like to place an image with a link to a popup window that would have a video and player. I already have the html and swf file. I've had succuss just adding the flash video with an IFRAME but I would prefer to have a popup with the video, leaving the video hidden until activatied and control (player)with the viewer. I've done the tutorials. Read the forums. Contacted Support. I still have not been able to do this with sitespinner. I would appreciate any suggestions.

I would just create a page with the video as usual then link to that page from your popupvideo button. Then use the 'Open in a new window' link option tp make it pop up. Add popup script in the url (as described here) if you want more control of the popup size etc.

I went with creating a page with just the video on it. I'll try the popup next. For the moment, the page is working. It's pretty basic but it works. Thank you again! Smile

You can put anything in a popup window, including swf. The size of the window will need to be a little bigger than your video, because you need to allow for the window "chrome" (borders etc).

First, put your swf file on its own page using a 'Foreign Object' -- icon on the left hand tool bar. Then open that page in a pop-up window. Here are some ways to do that.
