Hi! A few different free seo tools said I didn't have any h1,h2 or h3 header tags, which I don't.

When I insert one or more of them through page editor, the entire page would drop down and the words would generically be at the top of the screen. Is there a way to creatively position h1 h2 or h3 tags while they are labeled as such?

Normally, header tags aren’t necessary, but if you want to use them, place the header tags in a code object.

Where ever on the work page you place the code object, that is where it will appear.

...But then again Engine Seeker says Doorway pages help your page rank...everywhere else all over the internet I'm hearing it is a huge fat "no no"

Header tags used to be important, but now that we have CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), to control page layout, I can't imagine Search Engines would penalize you for no header tags.

If you find a reference that says they are important, it is probably years out-of-date.

Likewise, doorway pages might have been a good trick once-upon-a-time, but not any more.

Actually header tags are still very important for SEO. If you want to modify the default behavior of header tags, then you definitely want to use CSS to control the display characteristics of your header tags.

thank you. i'm hearing conflicting stories about the header tags. I don't exactly know about how to edit or modify default behavior for css for header though. every time i try to reposition a header, it automatically pulls the web page down and shows generic on the top middle of page. The code object, text object, or anything doesn't seem to work for repositioning a header tag either. Only the title positioning works fine for me in sspro.
