I have downloaded a video clip to use on a web page. The file extension for the clip is FLV and it is supposed ot be a Flash file. does anyone know if this isvtrue? Also, I have tried to use Foreign Object to place the video on the page but all I see is a white box where the video should be. Can anyone offer any help as to how I do this correctly?
Thanks.

Yoy will need to place an flv player on your site, in order to play the flv video.
Google on 'free flv player for web page' will give you a range of options.

You can also convert your FLV file into a SWF flash file. This would not require you to use an flv player. There is a free converter here which is a front-end to the FFMpeg program. It accepts a wide variety of video formats and an convert them to either flv or swf. If you do not have the ffmpeg codec installed, you can get it from SourceForge.com
