This is a very professional tool. On par with Flash 2008 in features. It supports Flash 10 output, but not ActionScript 3. I use Quicker often as it is faster than Adobe CS4 for small projects. If has a bunch of effects built-in (which you need to buy for CS4). It can also open an unprotected .swf file so you can inspect and modify it.
I recommend this if you want to dive into Flash. |

Once you have said that, i just wish that the key was valid. I would have liked to try it.

When asked for the license key, the user name has to be “giveawayoftheday”
Copy and paste this and the Registration key from the Readme.txt file that came with the free download. |

Often these giveaways are rubbish, but this is a good one. The comments on the Giveaway site are running 80% in favor of the program (SWF Quicker), so that is another good sign.
For those not familiar with the way Giveaway of the Day works, it is strictly time-limited. You have another 11 hours to get the file downloaded and installed on your computer. |

I understand your concerns about publishing a live url on the forum, but maybe you can publish your test page to iHostVM with a free, temporary (24-hour) site and post the link?

There are many ways to solve this and my proposal would be: why don't we put more sites with id number on profile and then on the forum we just specify the page name?
more complicate but i think you understood many reasons why i don't like to post a page name or a link to it. Thank you anyway for your answer. BTW i'll take the page off for 10 hours it'll be back tomorrow morning if anybody has an answer for it. |

The backwards link didn't work for me, so all I can suggest is this:
1. Make sure you upload all the files required by the slideshow. 2. Make sure the files are uploaded to the correct folder of your site. Often this will be be the root folder, but it might also be /media. 3. If you have only a .swf file, in the Foreign Object Editor (Embed a File or Media), set the "Format" to be Flash. |

The link is back.
Setting foreign objects on flash (and that is done) gives me the chance of importing just the only one recognized by that format as an swf file. Thanks Bruceee |

I checked also server files and in media file is the only one uploaded.
Obviously there is something that i'm missing ( as files) since preview is working. Are the images for the slide show suppose to be there also? If yes, besides an external FTP transfer software, can i do transfer them with sspro? I also checked tutorial of swf software before posting, but i did not find any useful hints. thanks a lot. |

There is a Slideshow.swf file in your /media folder, but it is not doing anything. It looks as if it is expecting some other files, and at this stage your guess of images seems good to me.
If you want to transfer them with SS, you could add them as Foreign Objects ("Other" format). The Format you set for them will determine where SS Places them -- see Relationships. This should place them in the media folder, which is my best guess of where they should be. Another way is to place the images on a separate page and publish that page -- this will also use the media folder. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Bruceee, |

Well,... page is working now. As we thought images files need to be there to make things work.
Thank you Bruceee especially because despite the reverse url you had the patience to answer my post. As you see ( Roma ) drop down menu are really great. At least for me. Thank you both. |
