I need help with "publishing" issue. I had the same problem last night, but was able to publish this morning. Here is what I get:
Establishing connection to server: Preparing to Connect ... Connection Established! Set Remote Path to '/...' Connection made to server: Transferring file: /.../ek14.ims (242959 bytes) Error: (12003) Creating directory on Web Server: '/.../' 550 Error: (12003) Creating directory on Web Server: '/.../' 550 Starting Retry 1 Created Web Server directory: '/..../' |

Hi Fashion77
It appears to me that you are not setting your “Remote Publish Directory” correctly, that’s why you are getting the ‘/…/’ Try just putting a forward slash by itself, then click the “Browse” button. That should take you to the main directory of your site. Depending on the system your host uses, there will be many folders there, but you should be able to find the one you are supposed to publish to, most commonly public_html While in the Browse dialogue box, you will note there are folders above it with ‘…’ etc. That seems to be where you are trying to publish. These would be protected folders, and SS can't create folders for your site there. |
