When working on a project, it is sometimes difficult to decide what colour you need, or to adjust the RGB settings to exactly what you want. Whilst the colour picker in SS is handy, you may not always have the colour you want on your screen, or you may have found or read a code for a colour that you like somewhere. Most of the colour settings in SS are in the RGB format, but there are other areas where you may need the hexadecimal code.

Some may have a stand alone colour picker program that may only give you either the hexadecimal or RGB code, and you need to convert it to use in SS.

There are plenty of online sites to do these conversions, but they can be a hassle and time consuming to find, and you may not be on line at the time you need it.

As such, I have developed a Colour Code Conversion HTML page to use on my local machine for this purpose.

You can view my effort by clicking the following link. Please feel free to save the page to your computer if you have the need to use it (there are no geometry or associated files needed for the page to work). It is also advises to save it as an HTML file rather than the normal default of MHT.

If you find it a bit cumbersome with the unnecessary text objects etc., you can download the project file itself and make any changes you want from this link.

Hope this can be helpful for some of you.

Regards,
Terry
