If you are happy to do all your development and changes using WE, then you don't need SS, so you could safely remove it (them?).
The first SS you listed is the current version. However I have no idea what the V.70.6 is. Before you delete it, I suggest find out what it really is For your last question, about the only thing you can transfer are your publisher profiles, URL list and spelling dictionary -- are they what you are thinking of? |

Bruceee,
I have over 250 pages in 5 websites that I have built and was hoping I could use the new WebEngine resources to edit and improve the existing SiteSpinner pages. I thought I had figured out a way by opening a new WebEngine page and opening an existing site from S/S into the W/E which worked fine. I saved it into a new folder titled W/E but when I opened from the new folder it reverted to the S/S format. Make any sense? I had hoped that by buying the W/E that I would be able to revise and improve my existing sites but doesn't seem to be possible? Doug |

Have you changed the file association for .ims files so that double-clicking them opens them in WebEngine and not SiteSpinner?
One way to change the file association is to right-click an .ims project file, select "Open With", then "Choose Program". In there is an option to make the change permanent. |

Brucee,
I received a note from Derry this morning and he told me it would be okay to remove all Sitespinner. I tried "Open With" WebEngine as you suggested and it opened as site spinner so I guess I will give it a go. (Uninstall SiteSpinner) I saved my sites on my second hard drive and if need be I guess I could reinstall SiteSpinner if I had to recover....? Thanks for your help, Doug |
