We all want our efforts of hard work in creating our wonderful sites with rewards of top ranking in search engines.

Along with the Meta Tags and headers you need a proper Site Map.

However, how many home or even professional web designers bother to include a Site Map for Google & other such search engines to use.

I recommend a small download

This will crawl your site and created an xml file for you to upload.

Once you have done this you will need to create a Google account where you will find the "Web Master Tools" from here you can direct Google to search for your Site Map.

Google will then report back later and let you know if there are any problems.

There are some other tools available too.

All this doesnt take long at all and is certainly worth the effort
