G'day Gang,

Just wanted to post this incase anyone was considering doing the same...

I am currently running SiteSpinner v2.50 on my Apple iBook using Microsoft Virtual PC and Windows 2000 with great results!

As I do web design professionally it is important for me to check my design work on multiple platforms (often chopping and changing between platforms repeatedly). As there isn't a version of SS for Mac I took the leap and bought Virtual PC (a program that allows you to run any version of Windows on a Macintosh - or even Linux etc) so that I could run Windows 2000 and SS. And it works a treat!

Just to let you know (incase you are considering doing the same) I am running this on a 12" 800Mhz G4 iBook with 640MB Ram. I have IE6 (on Win2000) IE 5.5, Mozilla (on Win2000 and Mac), Safari etc all running and so I am able to test designs in all, quickly and easily.

*A quick tip - Windows 2000 is by far the fastest version of Windows to run on a Mac. Much faster than 9x systems (98, 98SE, Me) and much, much faster than XP Home and XP Pro (though if you do use XP, turn off all the eye candy and the Mac will thank you with faster performance... in fact it will run quite quickly with some super-tweaking, making it as fast as Win2000, just don't turn off or disable things you need to use!)

Hope this might help someone! Wink

Just a note that Parallels Desktop for Mac seems to be a good option also - Derry

Code Weavers supply products that enable Windows applications (such as our tools) to work on Macs and Linux systems.

Hi,
Another tip: I have installed Parallels Desktop on my Macbook running Windows XP and Spinner. It's running great.
