Hi
I think I just read something by Bruceee that said ssp was getting an update soon so maybe some things are already covered or have been said. I was Very disappointed to see that ssp's publish section has not been 'upgraded' over ss. In my humble opinion this is how it should work... If ( like me ) you have a site/project with multiple pages and loads of images that require multiple image folders ( you shouldn't have too many images in one folder as it slows things down and some servers only show 'x' number of files when connected, believe me I know, 5000+ files in one folder=not good !! ) 1) Export pages from 'a-b' then click 'subfolders' and enter a name for your first image folder, ie. 'animals' then maybe there should be a 'save/apply' button to click. 2) Export pages from 'c-d' then click subfolders and enter a name for your second folder and click 'save/apply' etc etc etc. That way I can do some work on my site that may add content to everypage and so when ready can click publish, select 'all pages' and hey presto everythings done. Then the next time I reload it all the folders are pre set. How it is at the moment you have to mess about Every single time, selecting pages to publish and then what folder names to publish to. I bet I can publish my site quicker using wd on individual pages and then using other software to change the 'image' text to what ever I want on each individual page. As good as all vm software most definitely is along with the 2500 limit sadly it seems they never have big websites in mind. Please prove I'm an idiot vm and intoduce the above feature or something like it tomorrow, even better make me look a complete pratt and say I can already do it lol 2) The side tool bar, can you make it so I can have a single row of icons so I have a wider working window. The small icons are to small for me and if I try to remove icons from the sidebar ( which is where I want that toolbar )then ssp just keeps 'doubling them up' rather than making a single row.Or is there a 'trick' I'm missing 3) VERY petty but I find the 'align' icons at the bottom as 'clear as mud' where in wd & ss there are 'crystal clear' Not a feature request but an opinion for VM staff on the the vm description of SS Pro SiteSpinner Pro On this page you show the Main features of ssp, basically why 'you' would want to buy it and the main differences/advantages that it has over the standards SS. Now of main Interest to me is the 'Interactive Animation', now I'm very sorry and please excuse my stupidity but the Information on that page doesn't tell me a thing that it actually does ! 'What's Interactive' 'What can/does it do' To be perfectly honest and with the worry of looking totally thick and stupid beyond all belief I DON'T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST CLUE MYSELF ( I'm sure in a minute when I start to actually look into it properly and read the animation posts it will be great but my point is If I have the program and don't know what it does how on earth are you going to convince someone to buy it buy for 'that feature' just saying what you do. Can't you make some animations or maybe even some small video clips showing these impressive features of SSP ! If you've got it, flaunt it ! Sorry other points have faded away for now, too much typing Andy This message has been edited. Last edited by: Andys logos, |

Hi Dan
I don't mean to be a 'grass' but I have actually reported you to the 'Cruelty To Santa Claus Foundation' as I think your Santa has been running with that damn wheel barrow for plenty long enough Cheers Andy |
