I tring out SS and another (shall go Namless) editor. I'm really likeing the ease of use and relative power of SS, it's great for building pages but from what I see a little weak on building sites. I HAVE ONLY BEEN USING 2 DAYS, I appoligize in advance if I've overlooked these features.
1) A little tool to select a icon for your site when someone bookmarks it. 2) A sure fire way to protect your resources, as I posted in a frames topic, I want to prevent people from saving my original graphics to their system and reusing them without permission, or worse linking to them and eating up my bandwidth. Can a transparent layer be put over an image so when they right click to save or get the address to the image they get the transparent layer instead. Be very cool if such a transparent layer was tied to my site and the image lost it's transparency view elsewhere. ( good way to post my domain to other sites ) 3) Some type of site manager tool showing the interlink of pages and being able to drag and drop pages from one part of the tree to another and have have it auto correct the links. This feature is part of the other editor I'm currently testing. Which has a lot in common with SS but a lot of other features most of which tend to make it a little too complex. It's also twice the price. And Frames I know is already in the works Thanks |

Hi Mythwyn,
Not sure what you are referring to with your first request. I believe your second request has been addressed in another post. Your third and fourth points are understood and high on our list for a future release. Thanks for the feedback. - Derry |

To answer your first question. We don't have such a feature and it might be an interesting addition but it is fairly simple to do yourself.
Note: the bookmark icon only works in IE (5 or higher I believe). If you have a 16x16 icon file, e.g. someicon.ico , just name it favicon.ico and put it in the root directory of your website. That's it. Renaming an image file with the .ico extension won't work though. If you don't have an icon there are many free icon editors and free icons on the web. Just search for "favicon" |
