I am trying to import images that are greatly larger then the page I am importing them. There are several ways to reduce their size such as going into Quick Properties and changing the horizontal and vertical dimensions. However, this is tedious. Once I have the picture diminished I can then drag it to any size I want.
My request is to allow me to prset a size on the page and import into the size. I can then resize the image using my cursor without first having to go into properties, etc.
Changing the scale is a percentage change, not an absolute width/height change. So if you are importing several large images, changing the X & Y scale to 0.5 would yield a image reduction of 50% without altering the image's aspect ratio.
Remember that SiteSpinner is an HTML tool, not an imaging editor. You should try IrfanView. This is a free image editor that provides a batch processing function which allows you to scale many images in a single operation. It is a very handy program to have.
