Could you elaborate on this? In order to use external CSS, you would have to use a link reference. This can be added to a custom header on the desired pages. then editing the external CSS file would be applied to all those pages. If you wanted to make a site-wide change to 60 to 70 pages, wouldn't you have to go into those pages to add the CSS link reference? With SS Pro, you have the ability to create a code object and use the code new placement drop-down to put it in the head, body, or CSS section. With this ability, you can use the object Include feature to put your CSS (or script) code on only those pages you want.

I think I see your point and I agree. One of the problems I see with the new SS Pro using external CSS files is that an external file is created for every page in the project even though most of the CSS code is duplicated. If a single project-wide external file were created containing the common CSS code and, as you stated, a way to include CSS into this file rather than the page-specific file, it would be a big time-saver. Also, if a common file was already cached in the browser, it would not be reloaded if used by another page, thus saving load time.

Thanks for that suggestion. We agree. SiteSpinner Pro takes it a step in that direction but we hope to extend the CSS ability in future versions.
