In this old thread which contains my very first post in these forums
If you have auto spell check on in the text editor you also get it for the code editor. Both editors use the same dictionaries, so if you use the code editor for Javascript, auto spell-check will show many errors. There are a number of dictionaries present and one of them is for HTML. None it seems for Javascript or the DOM (Document Object Model). You can also create your own dictionaries, so it would be reasonable for users to be able to set something up especially for code. But for that to work, you wouldn't want dictionary changes for code to take effect in dictionaries for text. So as well as separating the options/filters for text and code, could you also separate the dictionaries? Just feature request number 124 |
