On several occasions, I have found the need to apply Special FX to several objects, in some cases, up to 15 or 20. This includes both Hide While Loading and Hide After Loading.

To do this, you need to apply the Special FX individually for each object. That means you have to access the Special FX menu 40 times.

It would be nice if you could select all items, and apply the Special FX in one go.

At present, this does not work.

Are these items all individual? Or are they common elements on several pages. For example a particularly large graphic used on all pages rather than a one time use item.

If it is the first, by using "clone" any changes applied to the element will carry over to it's clones. Which is great until you want to move one of them and they all move.

Not sure that was what you were aiming for but there it is.

Thanks CassandrasVox for your reply, but you are a little off beam.

All of the objects are on one page, so using clones or includes is not an option.

I have the need for this application on quite a few pages on my own site. The latest example can be seen in this thread where I knocked up a quick simple project for another forum member who wanted to give his clients the opportunity to visualize his product using 5 different options for three elements of his product before placing their order.

To do this, it required 16 images layered on top of one another, all with the Special FX of both hiding during and after loading.

The only way to achieve this is to apply the Special FX to each individual image, and re-layer them. That’s 32 times accessing the Special FX menu.

As I said, it would be handy if you could group the objects and apply the settings just once (or twice for both options), but Special FX does not work for a group.

So my request for this feature, if it is possible, still stands.
