I notice that when I add background color to my web page I would like to add radial or linear and doesn't function in this option? Do I need to create my own "image" to fill the background?

Thanks, Doug

Native HTML does not support gradient backgrounds. SiteSpinner allows the use of a tile image which allows a small gradient image to paint the background. If you use IE, there is a filter which allows it, but it is not cross-browser compatible.

For linear gradients, you can make very economical backgrounds by stretching a small seed image to the size you want. Or by tiling in either the x or y directions. Details here.

Thanks for the information. What I want to do is create a logo and then tile it like a watermark in the background.

The best option would be to use the Page > Editor > Background tab > Tile button. Depending on the shape of the tile, you may need to to tile in only one direction, either the X or the Y. The default is to tile in both directions.
