I've been trying to pre-load a textarea with the contents of a file, fread() by php and stored into a variable $text. When trying to put this data into the textarea by setting the value to "<?=$text?>" I found that the HTML codes "<" and ">" are being converted into their special character equivalents, thus breaking my php code.
How about a check-box/radio button on the form dialog that would either allow/disallow embedded HTML code in the value fields? |
