This may already be a request Smile

Maybe a box that pops up when publishing that states "these are the files that will be uploaded".
With an add files selection.
Then an upload now or cancel.
Save the confusion of "it worked in preview but not on my server" just to find out an external file was not added.

In many cases this would be more convenient than using a Foreign Object. You may want to upload, say a Flash or sound file once only -- and after that it will seldom change. With a foreign object, you would later need to delete the foreign object to prevent unnecessary repeat uploads.

I'm adding a wallpaper folder to my site, so this idea extended to a complete folder would also be useful.

Why not have a delete files selection too? Then you don't upload files that you know have not changed.

This is getting into the area of uploading only changed files, which has been asked for before.

Yes, the 'upload only changed files' is on the list. Consider the other request noted.

It appears my post has been mislead .Although an upload only changed files would be nice.
What i tried to describe was the ability to add files to
So instead of people using Cute ftp or other ftp's i've seen listed in the forums. They could upload anything they wanted along with there ss files. Smile

Though it might not be the most elegant implementation at the moment, you can do that now - see the FAQ on that here.
