I did mention this before on the previous forum...but as this is all new....

It would be helpful to have any publishing errors tagged someway to avoid having to search through to see where any such error is.

The FTP publisher currently lists any problem that may have occurred during publishing. If there is a warning at the end of the upload you just need to scroll up to find what the problem was.

Is there something else you were looking for?

Mmmm . I dont actually use the in built FTP.

Although I know that all you need to do is scroll up in the Export Progress to find where an error might be it can be a bit tedious to search for a few errors in amongst what could be a few hundred files. So what would be nice is someting like:

(as is it the moment, but an actual list of those errors as well):

Yes, that makes sense.

So, what you are saying is that you would like this feature added to the Publisher, but you don't actually use the Publisher yourself!?

Hold on Hold on.... are we talking about the same thing here?

I dont use the inbuilt FTP program (never have done) but of course I have to publish my project to my upload folder and of course this is via the IMS Publisher. Where I want to see any publishing errors is in the Export Progress window where it either tells me that:

End
---------------------------------------
Transer completed without errors!

or

End
-----------------------------------------
There were 2 errors recorded which were:
etc etc

Yes, I think we are. It slipped my mind that you would see the same dialogue when publishing to disk as you would when ftp'ing.
