Yes, the ability to edit code within the Code View is high on our list of features for a future release of Spinner and Engine. It won't make it into the V2 release, however rest assured that we do plan to integrate code editing.

Until that time if you want to include HTML (or any other code for that matter) into your document, use the Code Editor (paper with 'Code' icon along the left tool bar). Using the Code Editor, any code you enter will not be altered in any way.
