What are the chances of offering a choice between plain vanilla FTP and the various other flavors like SFTP from within Site Spinner? This would eliminate the two-step process of publishing to disk, then using another application to do a secure transfer.

I checked with the development demi-gods and this is on the list. However, it is not a trivial enhancement. So, though it is on the list, I can't tell you exactly when it will make it to the top.
